He's sweet, very smart, loves playing with other dogs and running in the yard. He also likes the last drops of a cold beer on a Friday night! And he must watch all Notre Dame football games! Desire immediate and local placement if possible.

Schnauzer/Terrier lovers, you will be delighted by this adorable, fun pair! Love that Schnauzer/Terrier spunk & playfulness? Could you watch them play for hours? They play, wrestle, and talk to each other all day long and are always looking for each other. They even sleep in the same crate together. Layla and Teddy are a brother and sister who were rescued after being dumped in the swampland of Louisiana and left to fend for themselves against who knows what kind of wildlife! Fortunately both were caught before they were injured or eaten. They were fully vetted and then came on a long transport up to PA. They're in foster with multiple dogs ... (Read More)and are good with all. Our cat is not so fond of them so we're going with no cats. Crate trained but not housebroken yet. Smart and love to learn, so obedience training is strongly recommended. They thrive on keeping their brains busy! Toys? Yes please, lots! Large fenced yard required. They love to run and play and we want to find them a secure home where they can do that to their hearts content. Approaching 8 months old and weigh about 15-16 lb but likely still growing. Are you a crazy Schnauzer/Terrier lover and just gotta have that in your life? Then go to http://hdr.petfinder.com to apply to adopt! (Less)
